Biography

Nikos Milianitis is currently Principal Advisor of the European Investment Bank (EIB) for public sector projects in the European Union. He worked in Greece in commercial banking in executive positions before becoming treasurer of the European Investment Fund in Luxembourg. Subsequently he worked for the EIB as senior portfolio manager, senior loan officer and deputy head of division in lending operations – sovereign loans, financial sector, project finance, corporate lending – targeting various parts of the world. He served as Deputy Head of Representation at EIB’s office in Kenya for East Africa and Head of Representation in Cameroon covering Central Africa. He holds a BA in finance from the University of South Florida and an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. He is a Certified Trainer.
