The Conference Registration Fee (Full Delegate or Student) includes:

  • Admission to all technical Sessions and Exhibition
  • Delegate bag and all conference material
  • The conference proceedings
  • Lunch and coffee breaks throughout the conference
  • Ice-breaking Reception

Please note that payment must be received in full by the registration deadline in order to qualify for these rates.

1-day pass participants may choose ONE (out of 3) Conference Days to attend. The 1-day pass includes:

  • Admission to all technical Sessions and Exhibition during the selected day
  • Delegate bag and all conference material
  • An electronic copy of the conference proceedings
  • Lunch and coffee breaks on the selected Conference day


In the rush to embrace ‘virtuality’, are we forgetting the value of face-to-face Interaction?

At ICONHIC we greatly value the benefits of conferences with physical presence. It is our firm belief that no matter how well-organized a virtual event might be, it cannot completely replace a face-to-face experience which among other advantages comes with a greater potential for stronger relationship building, guarantees a higher level of commitment of the participants and allows for a more prosperous and interactive dialogue and sharing of ideas and new advancements.

Therefore, the NEXT ICONHIC Conference will either be organized with physical presence (fully respecting all health protocols) or cancelled and postponed for next year in case Covid-19-related travel restrictions prevent it. The conference will NOT be converted to virtual and, in case of cancellation, all registered participants will be entitled to a full refund of the registration fees.

In order to ensure that ICONHIC2021 meets the expectations of our audience, we will cancel/postpone the original event even if the Greek government permits its materialization but travel restrictions to / from Greece may affect a significant number of participants.

Also, a very flexible registration cancellation policy has been put in place in order to cover participants against unforeseen travel restrictions as outlined in our Registration Cancellation Policy.

COVID-19 related Registration Cancellation Policy

  • In case of Cancellation of the original event, the following TWO options will be activated:
      1. Registered participants may receive a full refund of their registration fee (excluding any bank fees).
      2. Registered participants may transfer their registration to the rescheduled ICONHIC event receiving a discount of 15% on their original registration fee.
  • In case ICONHIC does take place in 2021
    but individual participations must be cancelled either due to official travel restrictions (between the Country of Origin of the Participant and Greece) or in the unfortunate event of a positive Covid-19 test:
      1. The Registered Participant will be eligible for a full refund (excluding any bank fees) at any time prior to the event. Alternatively the Registration fee may be transferred to a co-author or a colleague without any additional cost.
      2. Any publication fees will not be refunded, but in case of an accepted submission, this will be included in the Conference Proceedings.


  • At least one author of each accepted paper must register to the conference before 20 May, 2021. Papers without a registered author will not be published in the conference proceedings. There is a limit of 2 (two) papers per registered corresponding author.
  • Authors will be charged with a publication fee of 100 €/ paper (at the time of the submission) which will be completely deducted from their registration fee.


Should you require an invitation letter to support your application for a Greek visa, please email us at In order to comply with Greek Immigration rules, invitation letters will only be provided to attendees who have registered and paid for the Conference. If you have not paid your registration fees, we will be unable to send you an invitation letter.

  1. Registered participants are entitled to a full (100%) refund (excluding any bank/payment fees) in case of cancellation of their registration no later than 30 days prior to the expiration of the respective fee validity, i.e.

    25 January for Early-Bird
    15 April for Regular fee

  2. Registered participants are entitled to 50% refund (excluding any bank/payment fees) in case of cancellation of their registration no later than 15 days prior to the expiration of the respective fee validity, i.e.

    10 February for the case of Early-Bird fee
    1 April for the case of Regular fee and Student fee

  3. No refunds will be provided in case of cancellations requested later than 15 days prior to the expiration of their respective fee validity.
  4. Publication fees will not be refunded unless the paper is withdrawn within 48 hours of its submittal.
