Ton Peters (born 1961) is an expert advisor with a broad expertise in the fields of electro technical engineering, geotechnical engineering, risk assessment, climate change adaption, crises management and business administration. In his current position at Deltares he is responsible for international business development and project management of European research projects and projects in cooperation with international industry. Also he is a member of the Deltares crises management team that can mobilize vital expertise 24/7 in case of hazards like flooding, droughts and construction failure.

Before that Mr. Peters was a consultant and head of a survey department accumulating 20 years of international experience in geotechnical instrumentation, geophysics, remote sensing, onshore and offshore soil investigation and development of laboratory and field testing equipment.
